I remember as a kid growing up being so fascinated with mum's pink photo box, sifting through old film photos for hours at a time. I loved seeing old pictures of mum and dad when they were young. Learning what they looked like, what they used to wear, what they loved doing. And the photos of me and my siblings as babies. That warm fuzzy feeling of being loved, and the feeling of belonging. I can still feel it now when I close my eyes and think back.
